It went very well. We contacted Amy Lilly from personal recommendations, and have been very satisfied. She's been holding our hands all through the process (we close on Aug 30).
From the first, we were very comfortable with Amy. She came to the house , explained who she was, and who Alexander Chandler realty is. She gave us a market comparison, and explained in detail just how she would market our home: Traditional newspaper, open house, national and local real estate web sites, numerous social media outlets, etc. She did a complete walk-through of the home, and made several suggestions about needed fixes, ways to "stage" the house, etc. She also explained everything we needed to know about how the buyer presentations (walk-throughs) would work. Finally, she helped us determine an asking price, based on the current market (actually about $10,000 more than I thought the house would go for).
We had interviewed other agents, but felt most comfortable that Amy would work the hardest to get our home sold, and get what we were asking!
Over the next few days, the home was shown to at least 10 prospective buyers, and we had 2 offers on day 10! After a bit of negotiating, we settled on one, and started the waiting process. During this entire time, Amy held our hands, made sure we got any needed documents or amendments quickly, and kept us informed of progress (or lack thereof, at times).
It looks like everything is finally done, and we will be closing in 3 days.
I strongly recommend Alexander Chandler Realty, and Amy Lilly in particular, to anyone wishing to buy or sell a home in the DFW area.
She helped us sell our home. Listed it, walked us through each step of the process, marketed it, worked with prospective buyers and agents, shepherded the sale through to the end.

Amy stands about the rest -- In an industry where the prerequisite is attention to detail and communication, Amy stands about the rest. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Amy helped me find my dream home, I couldn’t do it without her. The process was easy, she helped me with every step of the process. She is well informed and a pleasure to work with. There aren’t enough words to describe how happy I am.
Amy has been one of the most patient and accommodating real estate agents I have ever dealt with… I truly appreciate the time, thoroughness, dedication and professionalism Amy has always shown in her work.
I have purchased 2 homes and sold 1 house using Amy Lilly as my agent. She’s great at helping her clients find what they’re looking for in a home. If you’re looking for a home, she will put you in the one you want… She’s great at what she does.
Amy is great to work with! She was willing to go over and beyond he average real estate agent.
Being a proud 7th generation Texan, Amy was born and raised in the Tarrant/Johnson County area and now settled in Crowley for over 20 years. She with her husband, Billy have a son, Chris and daughter-in-law Shanelle. Amy graduated from Southwest High School and worked in the Burleson/Crowley area for many years before becoming a Realtor in 2005.
When Amy is not selling real estate, she enjoys the small things in life. She and Billy enjoy traveling by land and sea, they antique as much as possible and in addition to children who walk with two, they have babies who walk with four. “Yogi”, their 6 lbs. Yorkshire Terrier ruled the house until “Bella” came along. Bella also being a Yorkie.
After a life changing medical event in 2011, Amy’s view on life is you never know what tomorrow brings so live like there’s no tomorrow, laugh until it hurts and love as much as possible. Her philosophy to real estate is work with someone you trust and feel comfortable with. Your home is one of the largest investments you’ll make, you need to feel good about the decisions you make regarding it. Amy loves seeing family’s dream come true.
Amy represents her clients by having the knowledge, understanding and compassion through extensive education and experience with both Buyers and Sellers. Her passion for Real Estate started at a young age but the reality began while her personal home was being built. Now after a decade of helping families see their dreams come true too, her passion is still very strong and very personal.

My philosophy is simple: clients come first. I pledge to be in constant communication with my clients, keeping them fully informed throughout the entire buying or selling process. I believe that if you’re not left with an amazing experience, I haven’t done my job. I don’t measure success through achievements or awards, but through the satisfaction and referrals of my clients.
